Itinerary description
One of 20+ interconnected walks forming ‘Footsteps in the Forest’ see Lysos Trekkers Group. Please note while these routes are beautiful,. There are no barriers and steep drops plus some loose surfaces. There is strict NO SMOKING rule if in the forest as a fire risk. Snakes can be encountered as well as other flora and fauna. Take good boots, a sunhat and plenty of water hiking poles recommended. Park in Building 33 car park as you enter Lysos from Peristorona as it is community centre. Walk includes agricultural land viewpoint and picnic gazebo over gorge and if you wish Peristorona museum
