Itinerary description
An easy walk up the right bank and down the left bank of the Gediz River, beginning by the main mosque in Adala. The trail generally follows that posted by Mehmet Kartal, but begins to loop back at the historical Kız Köprüsü rather than the modern Demirköprü Baraj (and thus offers no views of the Demirköprü Reservoir).
IMPORTANT NOTE: It is not permitted to walk through the Gediz Hidroelektrik Santral station without advance permission from the director of the facility. If such permission is granted, one walks from the gate of the facility to the first tight switchback in the road, at which point a hole in the fence allows the continuation of the walk down the left bank.
