Aq Su is composed of two Turkish words Aq meaning white and Su meaning water.
Aq Su means white water, it is composed of two Turkish words Aq means white and Su means water. Probably, the name of this waterfall is due to the white color that the water displays. Maybe the reason for this white color is the intensity of the water when it flows down from the waterfall and turns the water into a white bottom.
Agh Su spring is located seven kilometers from Kalaleh in Golestan province and is considered one of the most watery springs in this province. Near the spring, Agh Su waterfall with a height of 70 meters is located.
Agh Su waterfall is located at a distance of 42 kilometers from Galikash city and at the eastern end of Golestan National Park.
Golestan National Park is the oldest registered national park in Iran and a unique sanctuary for wildlife that houses 1,350 plant species and 302 animal species, including half of Iran's mammal species, in an area of about 900 square kilometers.
