Easy walk from the Alaska Islands & Ocean Visitor Center to Bishops Beach.
Before the ride, it is worth visiting the information center to learn more about the surroundings of Homer and, as a whole, the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge .
The walk is self-guided through an area with walkways and explanatory signs that take us to Bishops Beach, a beautiful pebble beach with spectacular views of the mountains of Kachemak Bay State Park, on the other side of the bay.
