Itinerary description
Via ferrata très sympa. Avec deux parties, une première normale puis une plus difficile (échappatoire entre les deux).
De beaux applombs, de belles vues.
La marche d approche est de 30 min environ avec joli chemin une fois passé le haut du village. Le chemin de redescente est raide raide.
Trace depuis le village.
Se garer sur le parking de la mairie. Possible aussi de se garer en haut du village où commence le chemin de terre.
Le dénivelé positif annoncé par l appli est étrange. C'est bcp moins que ça.

Completed the trail on 2024-05-04, thanks to original poster for the GPS as it was good quality and complemented the mostly well marked trail.
My GPS shows 647m starting elevation and 1260m max elevation with total ascent of 630m - this should be accurate. The trail is split in half 300m for approach to start of via ferrata and 300m for via ferrata climbing part.
The approach trail gets steep and was quite physically demanding to begin with. The via ferrata is well maintained and has good grips - at some points also natural rock which is a great feeling. 2nd part of via has a couple of negative slopes that can feel difficult especially since they are near the end of the trail and the climb is physically taxing.
Return to parking is half very steep rocky trail and half the approach trail. Due to the difficult return trail it feels more like 900m total ascent :)
Over all a great via ferrata well worth visiting with interesting rock formations, some great natural grips and good views. The town is quite nice too to visit the fromagerie or grab something to eat at the local pub.
