🇪🇸 Español: Vía ferrata Penya Llisa, de nivel K3, situada en la localidad de Parcent, en la provincia alicantina.

Ya que la vía ferrata en sí es corta, decidimos hacer una aproximación larga, pasando por la PR-CV 158. Aparcamos por un lado de la carretera, donde caben dos coches. El tramo de subida hasta la vía ferrata que realizamos es corto pero intenso. Es un camino oficial, hay marcas para no perderse, pero se nota que pocas personas pasan por allí y se convierte en un camino de cabras. Sin embargo, es un muy buen "calienta piernas" para la vía ferrata!! Recomendado para los que les gusta un poco de aventura!

Hay otras alternativas para llegar a la vía ferrata:
- La más fácil es aparcar directamente en el mirador del Coll de Rates. Desde allí se puede seguir la senda e ir caminando hacia el inicio de la ferrata o bajar en rápel. Son 3 rapeles (el primero para bajar el segundo tramo de la vía ferrata, que sería unos 20m, y los dos otros que fraccionan el primer tramo - 20m y 20m diríamos). Si decidís bajar en rápel, tener en cuenta que rozarían bastante las cuerdas. Pensar en llevar un protector de cuerdas.
- Si queréis caminar un poco antes, podéis subir por donde hemos vuelto. Es un camino de tierra, mucho más cómodo que él que cogimos.

La vía ferrata
Está compuesto por dos tramos. El primer tramo tiene dos reuniones de rápel, para escape o para bajar en rápel, como hemos explicado arriba. El primer tramo tiene varios desplomes. Es exigente y requiere fuerza y un poco de técnica. Es un K3 en toda regla.
El segundo tramo es más corto pero igual de intenso, con varios desplomes. Hay una reunión de rápel al acabar la vía ferrata, y otro punto después del final para hacer un pasamano.

La vía ferrata en sí es interesante, muy bien equipada aunque corta. Es una pared vertical, pero con algunos tramos de flanqueo. Es una K3 exigente, que requiere fuerza en los brazos para pasar los varios desplomes.

Al aparcar abajo, por Parcent, tenemos una aproximación de unos 40min y retorno de 30min. Ideal para alargar un poco el día.
Nosotros no realizamos los rapeles, con los cual las medidas dadas son aproximadas y según los datos de GPS.

There are other alternatives to reach the via ferrata:
- The easiest is to park at the Coll de Rates viewpoint. From there you can follow the path and walk to the start of the via ferrata or rappel down. There are 3 belay stations (the first to go down the second part of the via ferrata, which would be about 20m, and the other two to divide the first part - 20m and 20m, we would say). If you decide to do the rappel, keep in mind that the ropes will probably rub quite a bit. Consider taking a rope protector with you.
- If you want to walk a bit earlier, you can go up the way we came back. It is a dirt track, much more comfortable than the one we took.

The via ferrata.
It consists of two sections. The first section has two rappel points, for escape or if you decide to rappel down, as explained above. The first section has several overhangs. It is demanding and requires strength and technique. It is a real K3.
The second section is shorter but just as intense, with several overhangs. At the end of the via ferrata there is a rappel point and another point where a handrail can be made.

The via ferrata itself is interesting, very well equipped but short. It is a vertical wall, but with some flanking sections. It is a demanding K3 that requires strength in the arms to pass the various overhangs.

If you park at the bottom, at Parcent, you have a 40-minute ascent and a 30-minute descent. Ideal to extend the day.
We did not do the rappels, so the above measurements are taken from the GPS data.
