Itinerary description
Please note google maps may send you on dirt roads coming from Guejar Sierra. Thats wrong. Please choose the alternative route, paved all the way to the trail leading to the via ferrata.
Also note there are high bushes on the access trail to the ferrata, but still doable as of June 2024.
When you reach the via ferrata information sign, to find the ferrata beginning you need to go down a narrow trail that starts immediately on the back of the information sign.
The very first connection point to the first bridge is slowly getting consumed by the trees / bushes, but still ok as of June 2024.
Once you go across the second bridge, you either:
a) Go down the route to do the slide (if you have the gear for it), after which you’ll come back via a crossing of a third bridge (wooden planks). Then, you go up the fixed bolts and meet back where you left of when you took option a).
b) Ignore the down climb (leading to the slide) and proceed to climb up the fixed bolts that will then lead you to the top (and end) of the ferrata.
Once you’re at the top, take the trail back to the starting point.
For reference, I didn’t have the slide gear so I did option b), skipping the slide and third bridge.
