Itinerary description
Very long and very interesting, one of the best I've done. The only downside is descent. The choice is between long (6-7 hrs via normalweg) or quite risky (3 hrs via Birgkar). We decided to stay overnight at Matrashaus right at the summit of Hochkonig (2941 m) and take normalweg next morning. Local bus from Arthurhaus to Erichhutte parking saved us about 3 hrs on feet.
