Itinerary description
A very good route indeed - the surrounding views from the top feels like being in Utah, the walk-in feels like an adventure due to landscape changes and apart from the initial ascent and climb, most of the distance covered is pretty level.
Definitely the most exposed route we tried and would say you should be very comfortable at height as straight from the start you are very exposed with not much below you for about 100m. Having said that none of our group climb, we'd only done two 3b routes prior, and we still seriously enjoyed it (though will caveat this by saying we are all extremely happy at heights and of well above average fitness).
Whilst the climb is exposed, the descent (after the via ferrata descent) felt like the most precarious part of the day as it's extremely loose and steep. Recommend keeping track of the path while descending the scree slope as one of our group missed it and ended up having to descent the whole thing in the middle on all fours!
Overall highly recommended.
