Itinerary description
Rino Pisetta ferrata is one of the most beautiful I've done. It has fast access, can be done in a few hours, the exposure and feeling is breathtaking. However, I do not recommend it for first time people on ferrata. While I was on it I came across two groups with guides that took people that were first time on any ferrata. It hold up the line and the people had a overall bad experience because of the inexperience and poor judgement of the guides.
The ferrata itself is very secure, felt safe at all times. The rock is excellent. However, once in the ferrata there are mid way passages which are not well marked to continue the ferrata and also please be advised that the retreat I used wasn't given by route markings. I also used a GPX which was great and I returned safe to the start point quickly. After I've finished I met some people who hadn't had GPX and they've one on marked track. They were 2 hours behind me while getting to the start point.
All in all, if you are in the VIA FERRATA, this it would be a MUST in my opinion.
