Gozd Martuljek - Via Ferrata Hvadnik - Gozd Martuljek
Via Ferrata, inaugurated in 2017, which extends for about 500 m inside the gorge of the Hvadnik stream, a wild environment able to give refreshment in the hot summer months. Although never exhibited, it has some particularly technical passages and requires constant use of arms. Along the SP201 that crosses Gozd Martuljek we turn into Finzgarjevo Naselje. Near the soccer field there is a small car park with information table on the itinerary. Continue on foot along the residential street. After a few meters, turn left and go up slightly to the bridge, the real starting point (10 minutes). Enter the vegetation on the left bank of the stream. In short, you descend on the opposite side, climbing between rocky steps to the beginning of the equipment: a short but vertical rock jump that leads under the first of the three suspension bridges. After a long traverse of pegs and some easy sections you reach a comfortable terrace. The gorge begins to narrow more and more offering a varied and fun route that alternates passages, even athletic ones, a few meters from the watercourse. The equipment ends on a grassy ledge making a sharp uphill left turn. Reached the bench with a panoramic view, the zigzag descent along the wood begins, partially shared with the nearby Ferrata Jermn. After about 20-25 minutes you will reach the starting car park again.
