Circular al Catinaccio y ferrata Santner

Espectacular vuelta al Catinaccio desde Gardecia pasando junto a las torres de Vajolet y recorriendo la vertiente norte por la ferrata Santner.
Empezamos nuestro recorrido junto al refugio Gardecia para lo cual tomamos un bus en Pera di Fassa. La parada se encuentra junto a la salida del funicular de Vajolet. Desde Gardecia iniciamos el ascenso suavemente hasta llegar al refugio Vajolet a partir del cual la subida es brutal. Pasamos junto al refugio Alberto, nos asomamos al mirador de la cara norte con buena panorámica sobre las torres de Vajolet y continuamos en ascenso ahora más suave hasta pasar junto al refugio Santner. A unos 200 metros empieza la ferrata Santner que es mayormente realizada en sentido inverso empezando desde el refugio Fronza alla Coronelle. El recorrido es algo sombrío por la mañana pues se desarrolla íntegramente bajo las grandes paredes y agujas en la cara norte del Catinaccio y no entra el sol, aún así es muy bonito pues se realiza entre grandes agujas de roca. A la salida de la ferrata llaneamos - descendemos un poco para posteriormente remontar hasta el paso de Le Coronele, tramo sorprendente pues se desarrolla también bajo grandes paredes de roca y senda construída en algún tramo con maderas para facilitar la progresión. A partir del paso de Le Coronele (2630 m.) ya vamos a ir en bajada contínua hasta encontrarnos de nuevo en Gardecia para tomar el bus de vuelta.
Spectacular circular route to the Catinaccio from Gardecia going on close to Vajolet's towers and crossing the north face on the ferrata Santner.
We begin our tour close to the refuge Gardecia for which we take a bus in Pera di Fassa. The bus stop is close to the exit of the Vajolet's funicular. From Gardecia we initiate the ascent softly up to coming to the refuge Vajolet from which the raise is brutal. We pass close to the refuge Alberto, appear to the viewing-point of the north face with good panoramic on Vajolet's towers and continue in ascent now softer up to passing close to the refuge Santner. After approximately 200 meters begins the ferrata Santner that is realized mainly in inverse sense beginning from the refuge Fronza de la Coronelle. The tour is something shaded in the morning since it goes entirely under the big walls and needles in the north face of the Catinaccio and does not enter the Sun, though it is very nice since it is realized between big needles of rock. To the exit of the ferrata we descend a bit later to go up to the Paso Cornele, surprising section since it develops also under big walls of rock and the path is built in some section with wood to facilitate the progression. From the Paso Cornele (2630 m.) we are going in continuous descent up to being again in Gardecia to take the bus of return.
