Itinerary description
Zugspitze circuit. Ascension by the cog train up to the glacier, and then up to the top by cable car, and down again. The view from the top is really impressive, on a clear day you can see all the way to Munich, and on the other way the Austrian Alps. Some say that you can see to Italy, but I could not recognize any peaks. It is worth the trouble, if not for other for the cog train trip for those that have a passion for trains.
