Itinerary description
Trip back home from 2 sections of the coast to coast. Used Martin Lewis ticket splitter and it only cost £20. Took about 5 hrs. Took the Train up to Windermere Saturday and took about the same and cost £30, bargain. The GPS didn't like first class, tinted windows. Route was Kirkby Stephens to Appelby. Then on to a bus as trouble on line, Back on a train at Carlisle for Preston. Then Crewe, Nuneaton and back to Leicester.
