Started hike at the lower trailhead, which is unmarked and is just west of where the road crosses the Gray Wolf River. Trail generally in good shape, with about 10 blowdowns, mostly step-over. Lots of fungi out.
5.0Moderate out-and-back hike along river to point where a washed-out footbridge bars further progress. Trail was in pretty good condition, with a few blowdowns and a couple of washouts.
