A rare Christmas Eve day ride. Noon 48° with NNW wind 18-22 mph. The wind bites in the open. Down to 5mph when going up an incline against the big North wind gusts. Still had to be careful with some icy spots. GREAT WORK...
45° chilly, cloudy, light mist at times. Light wind. Legs wore out faster today I thought. Still felt good. Went underpass & East of interstate to Dak parking lot and back.
This my third year camping here. Utterly quiet. No bugs. Around 65f. Next year this may be decommissioned. Would be a shame. It’s not as bad as the media has portrayed.
