Fire tower. Nice trail. First half you hop from rock to rock. Second half you walk directly on the smooth surface of the mountain. The grade is steep. We encountered ice on the last km before the summit.
Easy way to Blue Ridge using state land acquired in 2014. Route uses the NPT bridge over Brown's Brook so no major stream crossings. A little blowdown near the top but not too painful. About 4 miles round trip.

Short trail to the pond, then bushwack around. There is a little brook towards the end. Easy to cross (probably worse in Spring)
