Started from the Valentine Lake trailhead. Hot and humid, but lots of wildlife - wild turkey, boar, and snakes. The bridge at mile 4.2 was damaged from a forest fire.

We planned on hiking on through to Valintine Lake rd. Forgot the keys for the shuttle vehicle... duh. In and out. Wild Azalias are just starting to bloom.
