45 mile loop starting at Rose Hill, Virginia. Some of this loop is extreme. Sometimes there is an easy way around the rough stuff and sometimes there isn’t.

Great trail system with multiple valley overlooks and interesting rock formations. Trails are well maintained hard pack surface, with good erosion control features. Overall the hiking is moderate with some steep climbs. ...
Starts out paved then trail thru woods. Green pin is start of paved section. Red pin is where our bus parked. This was my first hike with the Louisville Hiking Club. Most of group went out on a parallel path so they had ...
Most of the trip was easy except for Lower Profanity. It was wet and slick. had to stack a few rocks but did not have to pull rope. If you try it you better be locked front and rear. Hopefully the video loaded.

It is a up and down walk next to the lake and then in to the forest. Near the end we just wanted to get out before dark so we took a shortcut. If you wanted to finish it, you would go straight at the second fork. The one...
This is my track from Wildcat Offroad where you pay $15/person to ride their miles of offroad trails. I probably only drove 1/3 of the available trails in my Jeep Commander. Most riders are on OHVs, but also 4-wheelers, ...
The trails are not marked for the most part. It is still is very nice out there. The first part of the path didn't have the points needed to make it match the path but it is close. There are still more POIs out there. I ...
Nice stretch of the west fork of Clark's river. Good shade majority of trip. Current was good. Take out was a little rough due to mud from rain the day before, but all around a good trip.

Nice paddle on floyds fork. Run at 150 - 800 cfs at taylorsville gauge. Above 800 is to dangerous for a new paddler on the water. Lots of little strainers to watch for. Use cation at taylorsville rd. It is log jammed and...
Urban greenway. Mostly paved. Some gravel. Mostly sunny. Some trees. Completely flat. The orange line showing my path is very inaccurate. Shows me deviating wildly, which I only did at the ball fields near the trailhead ...
Easy hike near Twin Knobs Recreation area. Lots of mosquitos, flies and spiders but fine if you spray repellant before hiking.
Start from the Ky State park ramp. Heading out to State line Island for the night. The next day its off to graveyard Island for some fishing and more more camping.
Leave from Dorton thru flatwoods, lower pigeon, back up to top to rock query, marshals branch back to Dorton
This is the updated bridal trail in the Paul Yost section of JMF. To sum it up in a couple of words... it is AWESOME. Smooth wide with short rolling hills and tight turns, interspersed with a couple of long hills nothing...
The problem with this one that it is also a horse trail causing deep ruts in the trail itself. Also trail maintenance is poor. In spots the trail is overgrown and grass comes up to your knees. So spraying is a must.
Hike to Suzanna Arch from vacation home in Cliffview and then back via a very short cross-country and then dirt road to highway 715
Large loop around Highland Hills Park to explore and find some of the wood carvings along the trails. Seemed like they were in the middle of leveling and widening most of the trail. Lots of splintered root systems sticki...
Cold but great trip! Can only hit this trip after a hard rain the night before. Hit a log just right and sent we swimming. 48 degrees on this day ha.
From rear of lodge at Kentucky Dam Village State Park to Culvert City sign and back. Blacktop. Parallels US 62. One big hill. Pictures are lodge, view from lodge, hill going up during return.
Easy loop overnight of backpacking to one of the great views in RRG. Note the south section is very rough, and there is a serious climb to make the top of the lookout. Dangerous during snow or ice.
Great run, long hills, decent speeds, with good amount of trails throughout, although this displays asphault track only....
Three distinct hills to climb and descend one at the beginning one in the middle and one at the turn around. Rocky Rooty hard but fun!
Morning trail run with Brad Snyder. Ran from the Welcome center to High Knob on the siltstone. Was pretty chilly 40 degree weather but we warmed up quickly at the first hill.
A great hint to help you choose your outdoor gear and clothing!
