I was hoping this route was not as steep as yesterday. I found mostly shallow climbing roads so it wasn't as hard as yesterday. my shifter cable broke so I was not able to use any High gears for the climb up to the house...
This is my first attempt at a longer ride. I had to plan all the major road crossings, and I still ended up waiting at lights! great weather for a ride, so I went twice as far as planned...
For my Second Ride of the year, I decided to ride to the top of Chapman Mountain on a route that I Reconned the day before. It was not easy, but I knew I could do it, despite being out of shape.
The weather is finally warm and suitable for a comfortable ride. I decided to force myself to get my out-of-shape butt on the bike and ride a little. Went a lot farther than I expected!
