Walk along side St Catherines hill, over the M3, the around the Hockley golf course, then down to the River Itchen and back to Five Bridges road.
Four hours free parking: Hockley Link, Hockley Railway Viaduct, jnct 11 SO21 2BD. The Park & Ride is very close if you needed longer. The first half is along the viaduct and the cycle/walking path into Winchester centre....
Great place for family Swimming possible in the river just follow trail for over 1 mile and you will spot place where everyone swim.
