Relatively easy hike around the Birch Vale reservoir, via the town of Hayfield, the Snake Path and the Lantern Pike hill. Wonderful views of the surrounding Peak District hills, the moorland and the rural countryside.
Mainly off road circuit taking in some fantastic views of Kinder Scout and Kinder Downfall. Two killer uphills but two smile wide downhills. Give it a go. You will not regret it, especially if the sun is shining.
