Dirt road for most of the race. Second half is mainly flat and downhill. The climb to the turning point is not that bad. The scenery is amazing! A race worth doing.
Several hikes in behind the Bushman Valley resort. If you not camping at the resort, they charge R30 per person for hiking. Thought it was fair as they do put in effort to maintain the area. 👍
