Couldn't reach the summit because of the rain and wind. Highly recommend for a sunny day. Close to Wellington.
Great training hike local to Wellington. On a fine day there are also excellent views of the Hutt Valley and the Wairarapa. Depart from the Tunnel Gully picnic area. Technically easy but sustained steepness.
