This is an Moderate trip, but you must know what you are doing. On the way is ravine which has to be crossed on a snow bridge. So the substance of the snow must be good.
This is a home made road in Selárdalur close to Steingrímsfjörður. You need a big-altered jeep to get there in winter time. But it's a easy drive in the summertime. Max speed about 35 km. in the summer time.
When going up to the heath you will need to floor the snowmobile. The way down is pretty steep too.
