    左溪坑溪谷较小且幽深，很多岩石布满青苔，上游更是刺蓬遮挡，通过难度不小。基坞坑（甬江源）溪谷宽大且多巨石、岩床，下游更有很多高参大树，溯溪的趣味性较强。综合来说两条溪坑均是低落差的平缓坑，几乎没有瀑布，但甬江源的名头使得基坞坑的意义非凡。
