Itinerary description
Very easy flat route.
Recommended start is “the Circle” which is where buses and trams stop. I started it off a Hotel in Rümlang but do not start there as there was no parking.
The 3 km section around the airport terminals is asphalted and sometimes paralleled by busy roads. The majority of the route is quite pleasant and surrounded by farmland, streams and the occasional plan flying over.
It is fairly easy to follow as you will always have the airport fence as reference.
When it was recorded there were some sidewalks under construction so I had to get in and out of the terminal to proceed and find the “the Circle”.
There are pay shower facilities in Zürich airport (but I have not tried them).
