Itinerary description
A real skyrace: lots of vertical, technical terrain, rocks and steep ascents and descents, all in high altitudes and with fast changing weather conditions.
The route starts from Gkoura ('mountain' in slavic) village, climbs Ziria (aka Kilini) peak at 2300+ and circles around from the other side of the mountain, passing ski center, to loop back to Gkoura just below the piramid of Ziria peak again (at ~2100m). Most of the race is above 1500m in alpine landscape with sharp rocks and steep slopes, very technical terrain.
My goal time was set at 4:50' and it slipped just 3' so I consider it success :-D
