Itinerary description

Another nice run in Umstead State Park. This one is interesting because 2/3 of it is on the bridle trails and the final 1/3 is on the Loblolly singletrack trail, which can make for a challenging finish.

Begin in the Reedy Creek parking lot and head towards the lake on Reedy Creek Lake Road, turn left onto Reedy Creek Trail after passing the lake, then take the first right onto the Cedar Ridge Trail, and turn right onto South Turkey Creek Trail at the end of the Cedar Ridge Trail, and, finally, conclude the run by turning left onto the Loblolly Trail and climbing back to the parking lot.

Have fun!
