Itinerary description
This track is the running of the well known St Blaize hiking trail, as recordered from West to East. The trail can be completed in either direction, although the traditional starting point is at the The Point below the St Blaize Lighthouse.
Although a relatively easy trail to run, the trail is quite exposed to all elements including sun, rain, high winds and mist as well as being quite technical underfoot. Take the necessary head wear and sun block, as well as food and water as there are no refreshment points along the route.
The trail is marked with the white trail blaze of the African Oystercatcher painted onto rocks.
Be aware of snakes (Puff Adders); and flying golf balls from the Pinnacle Golf Course!
