Itinerary description
Velký Roudný is an extinct volcano in the highlands of Nízký Jeseník. Though heavily eroded and thoroughly forested the mountain still maintains the characteristic geomorphologic profile of stratovolcano and together with Venušina sopka these two are the finest examples of erstwhile volcanic activity in Moravian-Silesian region. There´s a watchtower at the summit and a marked trail showcasing the other local natural sights of volcanic origin.
