Itinerary description
Fairly flat discovery run from Schwyz train station.
It could be run faster (I carried 2 litres and too much weight as this was originally planned as run to Glarus. There are several fountains, accessible streams). It follows the Muota River to Ried and Muotathal.
It is as flat as it gets for being 80% soft 20% asphalt. There are no big climbs until after Muotathal. No need for poles and with dry conditions can be run comfortably with regular road shoes.
