Casi 500 años después, siguiendo la ruta original con la mayor fidelidad posible exceptuando que el destino no sería Tenochtitlán, actual Ciudad de México, sino unos kilómetros antes por motivos de seguridad, completé 450 kilómetros en siete etapas, corriendo y en solitario.
