Itinerary description
The trail is fairly uncomplicated but obviously a lot of zig zagging in order to gain nearly 1700 metres of altitude in just 8 km.
The powerhike up is fun and in single trails, becoming a little wider in the last few hundred metres of ascent.
The start of the route was from the Parking of the Alpnach Football club. Discovered accidently as all the other parkings were full. It was free! but that provided excuse to support the place by grabbing some beers afterwards.
The descent is mostly through agricultural double tracks. No complication and you can get decent speed but not as scenic as the hike up.
