Itinerary description
This technical single track makes its way up to the summit of the famous Lions Head in Cape Town in a clockwise direction. The trail ascends to the summit using the trail. On the descent the trail makes its way down using the chains near the top. At the intersection on the descent the trail takes a right turn to make its way to where one started using a different path to the one that was used on the ascent.
The most climbed peak in Africa, Lions Head is always busy with lots of people traversing its slopes. Besides warm clothes, bring a picnic to enjoy at the summit as one enjoys the great views of Cape Town and its surrounds.
