Trail photos
We started in the village of Kobarid and climbed a steep and asphalted road, following a beautiful via crucis, until we reached the original church of San Antonio, with the individual plates of each of the more than 7000 Italian soldiers fallen in battles of these places during the first world war. Spooky.
We went down a well-arranged path, seeing trenches of war. We go through a first waterfall where someone bathes and after a while we reach the spectacular Kozjak waterfall. Some brave man gets into the water to take better pictures, but the water must be freezing!
The very calm return by wide paths through the countryside to cross the Napoleon Bridge, which is already in the vicinity of Kobarid.
