Itinerary description

This is the running of the full perimeter border fence of a private farm in the arid Kalahari region of South Africa. Some gates are unable to open, so these have to be climbed over. In some places there are is no gate, so the fence has to be climbed over.

Running is done on the inside of the fence and is on sandy farm roads with full exposure to the sun. No water is accessible along this route.

Access to the farm is by prior arrangement only with the farm owner.
