Itinerary description
Got the train to Ispica then walked through the city to the trailhead. It's a magical start passing orchards of old as you enter the canyon. Not so much navigation required as you change between the riverbed and the path at the side. There's always a few different options to take at different points. It was a little overgrown in places getting legs scratched and stung with nettles but the scenery and nature was fantastic. However as you approach the canyons end it gets much less enjoyable whemtyou hit human life again.

Stay on the river bed until you go under the bridge and save yourself a world of pain!
After here the 'arcaelogical trail' is in a bad state and has been washed away in a lot of places. after this is basically country roads to Modica.
Im short the canyon is great, the rest served just to get to train station in Modica.
