Itinerary description
Guatapé is a small village located on the East of Medellín. It's known because of its lake, and it's very touristic.
In this track, we started on our hostel (Lake View Hostel), and took the street on the left. We took the bridge on the right, and after crossing it we took a road on the right. We continued by it until the end (we jumped a fence) and took the river on the left, climbed the wall and continued by our right. We crossed another fence and continued by the left side, and followed the signals of the waterfallwaterfall (pic.1). When we arrived to the end of the river (pics.2&3), we came back on our foot, until the beginning of the signals, where we took right uphill and then left at the end. We continued until a big road, that we took to the right until the gate of the view point (on the left). We came back on our foot but we didn't take the left: we crossed the river and continued by the coast, all the way until a bridge. We came back on our foot, passed the bridge and arrived to our hostel.
The way is not runneable (fences, river, etc.) but is very beautiful. It's steep and unpaved mainly.
