Itinerary description
Beautiful trail, in the pure center of the Bavarian Forest. Just the drive to the beginning of the route is worth it (crossing towns, valleys, fields...)
The trail itself is awesome. The little path through the Forest going up, parallel to the streams (sometimes crossing it) is spectacular.
If you follow this route, i got lost in the snow after visiting Große Kanzel (1004m). I wanted to do the round trip to the left, buz instead I ended going to the right. If you follow the right, you will reach a road, following the road you are back in the car. Because I am not a big fan on running next to the road (i did see cars at all), i decided to come back up to the mountain.
Free parking at the beginning, not many spots though.
