Itinerary description
A technical and demanding cyclical route starting from Grammos (aka Grammousta) village (alt. 1.380m).
The path initially moves uphill up to the alpine lake Gistova (alt. 2.350m) and subsequently follows the mountain ridge reaching the summit of mount Grammos, namely Tsouka Petsik (alt. 2.520m). The last hundred meters or so are a steep (but manageable) climb up to the summit. It descends from the opposite side of the summit (one a less steep decline) and after a small circle that passes below the Perifano peak, it again ascends to the mountain ridge (a bit after Tsouka Petsik summit) and traverses it again towards the opposite direction, reaching lake Gistova again and following the downhill route to village Grammos where it ends.
It can also be hiked (and maybe this is a more sane way to follow :) ).
