Itinerary description
Very relaxed hike uphill run on downs and flats.
Places where you will get nice views are
- from altitude 1200 metres on the uphill from Goldau
- in Gnipen (360 panorama)
- in Wildspitz (360 panorama)
- some small stretches just before and during Grossmattstollen will provide you good views of Rigi
- in Hochwacht (you have to run the extra few hundred metres to see it)
- From Blasenberg down to Zug and Zugersee.
The total metres climbed are roughly 1250 (somehow the GPS did not work well) you can see that in the picture to the right which has the route according to Schweiz mobil.
It was run in 3h15m at a leisurely pace .Can be run under 3h. Recommended Hike time is 7hrs 40 min, however.
