Itinerary description
Eiger Trail E35
This is the path of the Eiger Trail E35. The path is almost completely runnable, except for the uphill from Wengen to Männlichen. This uphill is very technical and steep, but once in Männlichen, there is a long downhill to Kleine Scheidegg and from here again an uphill to Eiger Gletscher. This uphill is also steep but not really technical. Once Eiger Gletscher, basically the most difficult part is finished, since till Grindelwald is almost all downhill. The downhill until Apligen is on soft terrain and a bit technical but not extremly complicated, then is on tarmac until around 4 km to Grindelwald, where starts a deviation through the wood that leads to Marmorbruch. This is also a bit technical uphill (with stones and roots) but not so steep. From Marmorbruch is only two km to Grindelwald.
