Itinerary description
Nice run linking these two.
Out towards Crimpiau the trails are hard to find as although the map shows paths they’re not clear and there’s little sheep trails all over the place. The ground is quite soft and boggy so that also adds to the slowness.
Beautiful views plus peace and quiet off the top. A little steep almost scrambly section down to a big flat path to sprint back down.
Going up to Moel Siabod is steep and relentless and the Daear Ddu Ridge is good fun if you hunt out all the rocky ridges.
A good but tough trail all the way back down awaits.
