Itinerary description
First attempt at getting out of New York asphalt.
Train from Grand Central to Pelham, 30 minute ride.
Most of the route traverses soft ground. You will follow a flag with starts on blue background. Route is reasonably well marked.
Done at a slow pace (2h35, 9kmh), no real elevation can be done much faster if you don't need to worry about following the trail.
