Itinerary description
San Cristóbal is one of the biggest cities of Chiapas province, Southeast Mexico. It's considered the cultural capital of Chiapas and it's 2.200m high.
In this track we started in Arcotete, where we took a sandway on the right going uphill. We continued by it and in a junction we took a way on the left. We continued by it until we arrived to a paved road (pic.1), then we went back on our foot until the second sandway on the right. We continued by it until the end, then we took the way on the left until a road again (pic.2). We came back on our foot and instead of taking the way on the right (where we came from), we continued straight until the end (pic.3), where we came back on our foot and took the way on the left where we came from. We continued by it and took a way on the left until the end (pic.4), then we returned to the main way, and took it into the left, coming back on our foot. Then we took a way on the right, until we arrived to a way (pic.5), and came back on our foot.
The way is steep and unpaved.
