Itinerary description
This was my first brush with trail running; and I love it.
The run started from the gate of the Ain Zhalta Cedar reserve all the way to the Barouk Cedar reserve and back in a loop trail. The run started at 7:26 and lasted (at least my time) for 4h06m (not bad for a first timer).
The weather was a bit hot for this time of the year (32 degrees Celsius) but that didn't stop us.
The spring time brought up the best of nature with wild bright colors against a light green pasture; it reminded me of Ireland sans the dampness.
For this trip I used my Dynafit trail running shoes, Salomon trail-running ankle high socks, and my new Salomon Sense Ultra 5L Hydration Vest. I loved both.
A great experience and an eye opener on the other side of hiking.
The trail is difficult if you are not physically fit.
