Itinerary description
Trail head is 6.3 miles from Blue Diamond Travel Center. First trail Cottonwood Valley is the only difficult section. The rest after Goodsprings is great for adventure bikes though 53 can be a washboard at times. On Excelsior Mine Road, it is open range so be careful around them corners!
Alternately, adventure bikes can go over Mountain Springs Pass and get on Sandy Valley Road into Sandy Valley and connect with Route 53.
If taking alt route and the Old Spanish Trail turn off at 76 miles, difficulty is easy.
