Itinerary description
This trail intersects the Bootleg Canyon trail about 3/4 of the way up. The upper section of this trail is a "road" in name only with numerous, loose, large rocks and at one point there is an 18" drop-off over a washed out ledge. Luckily I was going downhill otherwise I probably would have had to turn around. The bottom section is actually OK and it is kind of cool to ride out onto the rim of the catch basin. This was also the closest to town that I have seen Big Horn sheep but couldn't get a very good picture.
