Itinerary description
This description describes a trail that consists of approximately 4 miles of Middle Wash Road and 5 miles of Rainbow Gardens Road. The Middle Wash Road portion is rough but very fast for experienced riders. There are several sandy sections where higher speed is often the better approach. I personally try to stay above 40 MPH. Care should be taken, though. I have dented several rims going over rocks peeking over the sand.
The Rainbow Gardens Road section is a well kept dirt road that is quite wide and allows fast touring.
